Sociology Major Core Prerequisites
Core prerequisites must be completed prior to enrolling
in sociology major core courses.
A. Complete MATH 109 (recommended), MATH 110, or a
higher-level MATH course prior to enrolling
in SOC 274. Note: LING 178, PHIL 110 & MIS 111
do not satisfy the math requirement in the major.
B. Complete SOC 274 prior to enrolling in SOC 275.
C. Complete and pass a second-semester English
Composition course, prior to enrolling in SOC 300.
