Prelaw Thematic Minor
The Prelaw Thematic Minor (PLW) requires 18 units of
which 12 must be upper-division (300-400 level).
Select from the following courses - complete no more than
two (2) courses in any subject area.
NOTE: If the major is in one of the departments listed,
use only courses from the other departments for the minor.
Only three (3) units of internship credit may be used for
the minor.
Many courses have pre-requisites, please see department
for list.
ENGL pre-requisites are Freshman Composition
NOTE: If PHIL110 was taken to satisfy GENED Math, it
cannot be applied to the Prelaw Thematic Minor.
NOTE: These courses are not mandatory for law school
admission but are recommended if the student does not
have a strong interest in another minor area.
NOTE: A 2.00 Minor GPA is required for this minor.
